The Gifted/Enriched Program at Western Technical-Commercial School (WTCS) offers an exciting, enhanced alternative to regular academic courses. Curriculum material is generally presented at a quicker pace and with more depth and scope. All compulsory credits in the Ontario curriculum are offered as self-contained Gifted/Enriched classes (English, Science, Math, Geography, History, French).

Western Tech's Gifted Program offers:
- Enhanced course material for students looking for a stimulating, broader, more in-depth learning experience.
- Teachers who are sensitive to the needs of Gifted/Enriched students
- A Gifted/Enriched Program Coordinator with dedicated time to work with students
- Extra-curricular activities and field trips geared especially to Gifted and Enriched students (e.g. Bowling for Kenya)
Western Tech offers:

- Extensive computer facilities and courses such as CyberARTS and Robotics.
- Innovative programs such as Leadership, ESL, Steps to University and Boys to Men.
At the beginning of every year Western Tech's Gifted/Enriched Program hosts a Fellowship Day. On this day Grade 7 and 8 students are able to come to the school and see what the program offers, whilst having the opportunity to participate in fun activities organized by our students.
